The EDT Basic is one of the longest standing and most reliable automation products developed by Padman Stops, continuing to be popular for simple, dependable automation. Updated from the original clock-style EDT, the new EDT Basic offers real-time scheduling, 1-minute timing accuracy, and 7 day programming, giving irrigators greater flexibility while keeping straightforward operation. Because the system operates independently, there are no apps, subscriptions or connectivity required. It also works with existing boat winches, farmers do not need to upgrade to the newer Padman Winch to benefit from automation. The EDT BASIC remains a reliable and affordable option for smaller irrigation flows, typically up to around 25 ML/day.
